MQT was founded in Valencia in 2011 as a theatre project of Aina Gimeno, Anna Moret and Ana Ulloa.

With the aim of re examining the world around us, MQT has, from its very beginnings, based its theatre on collectively created performances with meticulous staging, where social reflection and the need to connect with the audience has always been fundamental.

Maquinant Teatre are creative and committed women whose work has a clear purpose of research on the reality that surrounds them.

The company is committed to works of collective creation where poetry, social reflection and the need for an encounter with the public are always fundamental.

Over the years Maquinant Teatre has participated in various festivals such as Russafa Escènica, Matarranya Intim, Escènia de Foios, Mislata, Cicle Democràtic "Camins de llibertat" a Vila-Real and Ciclo de Compañías Emergentes at Rialto Theatre in Valencia.

They won the prize for Best Aesthetics in 2014 at Mislata Arts Festival.

In 2018 they premiered the show SALÜQ internationally at Heerlen's Cultura Nova Festival in Netherlands.
