In a little fair theatre, Pili’s husband has to do all the roles, and, accidentally, he opens his entire particular and artisanal universe. A universe that he has crafted and created with his own hands, and where every detail has the value of things made manually.
Automatons, puppets and humour are mixed in order to give sense of the particular world of Libèl·lula.
“Toti Toronell takes the poetry of the clown to the extreme of the origins of shanty theatre, in silent cinema, in the magic of automatons, in the complicity with those who have left childhood behind in order to better reach those who are still in its bubble.”

“An exciting show that will remain forever in the sentimental memory of those of us who have had the privilege of enjoying it. (…) An exceptional August, he doesn’t need neither too much make-up nor the indispensable nose to make us enter fully into his world.”

“Through the poetics of Libèlul·la, the tenderness of the clown and the value for the simplest things (from the materials, to the characters and the situations), Toronell has the audience in his huge pocket.”
