The Toti Toronell Company was founded in 1997 as Toti Toronell’s personal project, after starting out in the circus world in 1992.
In 2007 he created shows such as Bloc, Capses, Panxuts, Cíclic, Automatarium and Microshakspeare (the latter, a co-production with the National Theatre of London, which is currently touring the world).
In 2014 he created Naïf with the clear intention of dignifying the figure of the Clown. This was followed by Despistats with Pepa Plana (2015), Libèlul·la (2016), Això encara no és un espectacle (2017), Escargots with Pere Hosta (2018), La Ciutat de les 800.000 ingravidolles (2018) or Dioptries (2019), among others.
In recent years, the company has premiered shows such as Paquets (2024), Bilèlula, En principi de moviment (2021) and the large-scale production Un pas de pardal (2020).
Toti Toronell is a multifaceted and multidisciplinary artist who also directs other companies and carries out commissioned artistic projects.
