A CHRISTMAS CAROL: Encapsulating Dickens is a multidisciplinary stage production inspired by the Charles Dickens’ classic novel. It offers a fresh, contemporary interpretation of the original text, capturing its essence to forge a stronger connection with modern audiences.
A girl’s obsession with A Christmas Carol has driven her, since childhood, to search for the perfect way to tell Dickens’ story. This obsession stems from an unusual family tradition started by her grandmother: every year, a different family member buys a new edition of the book, which must be read just before Christmas Eve dinner.
Through models, objects, and mechanisms—and with an intimacy and closeness in her storytelling—she makes us relive the night that changed Scrooge’s life, placing us in a present where literature and art have the power to brighten our days.
“Thanks to its complex and multidisciplinary craft, it has the power to attract and captivate both young and old — children, parents, and grandparents alike. A true gem for today’s most demanding programmers.”
