Société Mouffette | Vera González
Founded in 2013 by Vera González, the company’s projects are always in search of new languages within the visual and scenic arts, exploring alternative ways of connecting audiences with theatrical performance and discovering new poetics in dramaturgy.
With their first show, OVIDIA, created between Brussels and Madrid, they won the CENIT Award for Best Staging and the MQVE Award 2015 (More Quality Visual Theatre for Europe), launching an international tour that took them to festivals in Germany, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and France.
The collaboration between both companies has led to the creation of three co-productions:
LA DISTANCIA – Memory Capsules. A multidisciplinary show that explores the memory of the months in 2020 during which lockdown confined us with our own humanity, forcing us to confront life.
LA CALIDESA. A co-production with the GREC Festival, premiered at Teatre Lliure in July 2025.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Encapsulating Dickens). Winner of the MAX Award for Best Show for Children, Youth, or Family Audiences, finalist for the MAX Award for Best Adaptation or Version of a Theatrical Work, winner of FETEN 2024 Best Literary Adaptation, and recipient of the Drac d’Or Award for Best Family Show.
