Aquí (Here) is a poetic reflection on the place of human beings from the perspective of the passage of time.

A participatory street theatre production, divided into two parts. In the first part, we witness the filming of a film. In the second, we attend its screening at an open-air cinema, where theatrical actions engage in a live dialogue with the images. Aquí is an original and visually powerful piece that allows us to pause and listen to the deep memory of spaces… it allows us to experience time not only as that which passes and is left behind, but as that which remains and surrounds us.

What memories can we trace? And how far back?
If the history of the Earth were a film, who would be its protagonist?
AQUÍ (Here) is an attempt at decentring: an attempt to shake the belief that we occupy a privileged place in the universe and to open up the possibility — even if only for a moment — of inhabiting our ‘now’ and our ‘here’ in other ways.

AQUÍ (Here) forms part of Fira Tàrrega’s Suport a la Creació programme and is a co-production with the Chalon dans la Rue Festival, Fira Tàrrega and El Canal de Salt – Centre de creació d’arts escèniques.
