CITIES (Architectures in Motion) is a creation that is built through the body, the voice, the manipulation of objects, and live music.

A living installation created with multiple small cardboard bricks that define structures and landscapes, transformed through light, objects, color, music, and other plastic materials. This is the story of an imaginary city, a possible city that welcomes all the cities of the world. Here, the roofs have antennas, and the houses search for frequencies. Destroy to build, build to listen, tune to transform. A place without a name, for you to put your own.

This show is open to collaborating with other artists alongside Patricia Ruz, respecting the same dramaturgy and musical work with the voice. Its special and particular dramaturgy allows it to coexist with different performers/musicians from different cities, thus contributing its beauty and its sound and interpretive richness to a changing universe, just like a city is.

“Utopia? A naïve dream? A domestic or universal aspiration? These are questions that each adult audience member must answer for themselves, while also guiding younger viewers to understand the importance of their attitude towards family, classmates, and neighbours. Together, these small actions contribute to building a city, a country, a world that is kinder, more liveable, and more human.”
