MA COMPAGNIE association was founded in 2018 in Bordeaux to support the creation of choreographic projects, especially aimed at children and families, as well as the development of dance practice. The company serves as the production structure for the artistic creations of choreographer Marc Lacourt.

Marc Lacourt (Bordeaux, 1973) trained professionally as a sports educator, earning a degree in STAPS (Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities).

His dance training took place under choreographers Toméo Vergès, Pierre-Johan Suc, Magali Pobel (Cie Androphyne), and Laurent Falgueiras. Since 2012, he has collaborated and performed with Ambra Senatore, creating John and Un terzo Notamment.

In 2015, he created his first work for children, TIONDEPOSICOM (Decomposition), in which he was directly involved in set design, musical composition, and choreography.

Alongside his career as a dancer, he conducts numerous workshops for children and teenagers in schools and art institutions.

Marc enjoys crafting stories that bring objects to life—pulling them out of hiding, from a cupboard or a box, to reveal their many facets.
