Far Away is a production of Eilertsen & Granados Teaterkompani in collaboration with Lamatracataca.

Eilertsen & Granados Teaterkompani was founded in 2006 by Andreas Eilertsen (Norway) and Cristina Granados (Spain) in Stamsund (Lofoten Islands) within the Arctic Circle. The company bases its work on physical theater and has researched for years the connection of performing arts with music and theater. They run their own theater in Stamsund, Norway (E & G Teater), with a program that includes performances, concerts, artistic residencies and their own productions as a Company, as Far Away.

Lamatracataca is a Spanish-Argentinian puppets & objects company that began in Argentina in 1998 and moved to Spain in 2002, always joining audiovisual elements with objects and puppets built by its own founder, Cristián Weidmann.

In Far Away, adding the collaboration of the stage director and mediaturgist Sara Serrano. Both have collaborated for years with different international companies and artists, including Eilertsen & Granados with whom, after another previous collaborations, they created together Far Away.

Four creators with a long career, who move between different artistic disciplines and who were creating a story through the narrative of the image and music. A solo project of objects and video that Cristián Weidmann had been ruminating for a long time and to which Cristina Granados gives the eye of the direction, Sara Serrano the dramaturgy and Andreas Eilertsen the beautiful musical composition and the lighting design. And Octavio Gómez Vázquez, who also gave another touch of magic to the lighting.
