La Mecànica is a performing arts company and producer established in Mallorca, which works and collaborates transversally with national and international artists, around movement and visual theater in all its forms.

It is made up of Pau Bachero and Jenny Vila, both with extensive experience in the field of production and creation at a national and international level.

His first show, Again such a brief moment (co-production with Théâtre du Mouvement 2015 and Best Show Award "NOCHES FETEN 2016"), has been on tour for 6 years, mainly in France and Spain, (including the Avignon OFF Festival 2017), and has passed through countries such as New Caledonia, Norway, Lebanon or the Czech Republic.

Since its inception, the company has collaborated in the stage direction and dramaturgy of shows for other companies, such as 'Jetlak' by Los Rabinovich and 'Vincles' by Circ Bover with 6 national and international awards.

In 2020 they created their third proposal, specifically designed for family audiences and children: LAS PEQUEÑAS COSAS, co-produced with the TEATRE PRINCIPAL DE PALMA, and which was premiered in January 2021.

In parallel, La Mecánica works actively in the artistic direction of the Asociación Sonrisa Médica and prepares the MIA Festival, the new International performing arts festival in Mallorca.
